Are your labels permanent?

Our self-adhesive and personalized school labels are ultra-resistant. When applied on plastic, wood, or metal, they can be removed (if necessary). However, on paper, you could tear it trying to remove the label.

Are your labels waterproof?

All of our labels are waterproof and therefore ideal for identifying school supplies. They are washable and UV resistant.

What is the difference between self-adhesive labels and iron-on labels?

We offer two types of personalized labels: iron-on textile labels (not included in this set) and self-adhesive labels. Iron-on labels are designed for fabrics only and are applied with an iron. For all other materials, self-adhesive labels are the best option. They are washer-, dishwasher-, microwave- and rub -esistant! If you want to use the self-adhesive school labels to identify clothes, apply them directly on the clothing's care tag label (the one that looks like silk). Do not apply them directly to the fabric.

Instructions

Colle à moi labels are dishwasher-, microwave-, washer- and dryer-safe. Also, they are resistant to normal wear and tear. In order for the labels to stay put correctly, there are a few steps that need to be followed.

OBJECTS:

Press with good pressure to set the label. There should have no air bubbles under the label.
Wait at least 24 hours before putting the label underwater or being exposed to high temperature.

CLOTHING:

Wash and dry the fabric before without using a fabric softener.
The label must be applied to the clothing care tag (this is often silk, satin, or paper-like material). Make sure to use an appropriate label size.
Press with good pressure to set the label. There should have no air bubbles under the label.
Wait at least 24 hours before washing. Never apply the sticker to the fabric of the clothing. If your labels don’t stick well, make sure you have followed all the instructions.
If your clothing does not have a care tag, you can use our iron-on labels.
