Are your labels permanent?
Our large rectangular labels are really durable. When glued to plastic, wood or metal, you will be able to remove them (if necessary). When applied to paper, however, you could tear it when trying to remove the label.
Are your labels waterproof?
All the labels we offer are waterproof, washable, and UV-resistant. Just be sure to follow the directions of use.
What is the difference between self-adhesive labels and iron-on labels?
We offer two types of personalized labels: iron-on and self-adhesive labels. Iron-on labels are designed for fabrics only and are applied with an iron. For all other materials, self-adhesive labels (like these) are the best option. They are dishwasher-, microwave- and rub-resistant! We do not recommend the large rectangular label format for identifying fabrics, as they are too large for a care tag label (where self-adhesive labels should be applied when identifying fabrics). If you want to identify clothing with self-adhesive labels, opt for the small rectangular labels.<
Large rectangular personalized labels are designed to be microwave- and dishwasher-safe. However, the application must be done correctly!
- Press down firmly to secure the label. There should be no air bubbles between the label and the material.
- Wait at least 24 hours before putting the label underwater or exposing it to high temperatures (like in the dishwasher).
