What is the difference between self-adhesive clothing labels and iron-on clothing labels?

We offer two types of laundry resistant clothing labels (included in this package): iron-on and self-adhesive. For your piece of clothing that have a care tag label, use our self-adhesive that stick directly to the garments care tag label (the silk-like label) and require no ironing or sewing. Note that they cannot be applied directly on fabric.

For items that do not have care tag labels (e.g., socks, towels, sweaters without labels, etc.), we recommend our iron-on labels, which are designed to adhere directly to most iron-resistant fabrics. They are permanent, but not impossible to remove if needed.

Are your labels waterproof?

All our labels are waterproof. They are washable and UV-resistant. Our self-adhesive labels (included in this package) are dishwasher- and microwave-safe. You can use them on many different items: shoes, clothing, school supplies, cups, bottles, snack containers, electronics, and sports equipment.

Can I buy a refill ink cartridge for my clothing stamp?

Is the ink on the clothing stamp permanent?

Yes, the ink is permanent and only begins to fade after 40 washes. To optimize the permanence of the ink, we recommend washing the garments in cold water and waiting 24 hours before the first wash after stamping your clothes.

What is the print size of the clothing stamp?

The print size is 26mm x 9mm (1.028" x 0.361").

Does the personalized clothing stamp work on paper?

Yes, it does! Although the ink formula is specially designed to be washable on fabrics, it can be used on books and matte papers!

Can I identify dark clothing?

For dark fabrics, we recommend using our iron-on labels, which can be applied with an iron. You can also use the self-adhesive labels by placing them on the clothing care tag label.

Instructions

Our labels and stamps are designed to be tougher than children. They are even resistant to foot rubbing in their shoes! In order to maximize their adherence, the application must be done according to the rules of art! First of all, wash the clothes without using liquid fabric softener and then dry them. Please wait 12 to 24 hours after application before re-washing the identified garment.

CLOTHING STAMP

On a flat surface, inside the garment, press firmly on the stamp to print the name. For thin and light fabrics, we suggest stamping on linings, such as on the seam or collar.
After stamping, wait 24 hours before washing the fabric. To optimize ink retention, we recommend washing garments in cold water.

IRON-ON LABELS

Preheat the iron on the cotton cycle, without steam.
Remove the label from the page and place it flat on the dry fabric.
Cover the label with the parchment paper provided.
Firmly apply the iron directly on the parchment paper for 30 seconds. Be careful not to burn your fingers, as the label will be extremely hot.
If needed, apply the iron again in the same way for a few seconds.

Important: Iron-on labels are not appropriate for:

Fabrics that are textured (wool, canvas, fur)
Care tag labels (those that look like silk)

SELF-ADHESIVE LABELS

The label must be applied to the care tag label of the garment (the one that looks like silk). Make sure to use an appropriate label size (the label must not overflow or fold)
Apply the label with good pressure to eliminate any air bubbles between the label and the material.
Wait a minimum of 24 hours before applying a batch. Never attach the sticker directly to the fabric of the garment. Our stickers only fit on the care label. If your labels do not stick well, make sure you have followed the instructions.
